This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to SSCR Tampa Radio, this website, and Newt Media, LLC (“Company”) and governs data collection and usage.
Using this website
Our website address is https://sscrtampa.com . The following provisions apply to your use of this website. General provisions applicable to all communications with the Company follow this section, and are identified by the section heading beginning with “Communications with the Company”.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. Please note that this applies only to data obtained directly through this website. Other data may be collected by the Company, and is governed by provisions elsewhere in this policy.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Communications with the Company
The following provisions apply to all communications with the Company, including but not limited to this website, the Company’s application, email communications, and mobile communications. The Company’s application is a streaming radio application. By using the Company application, you consent to the data practices described in this statement. Your use of other communications with the Company likewise is governed by the data practices described in this statement.
Collection of your Personal Information
We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services. These may include: (a) registering for an account; (b) entering a sweepstakes or contest sponsored by us or one of our partners; (c) signing up for special offers from selected third parties; (d) sending us an email message; (e) submitting your credit card or other payment information when ordering and purchasing products and services. To wit, we will use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to services and/or products you have requested from us. We also may gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future.
Sharing Information with Third Parties
The Company does not sell, rent, or lease its customer lists to third parties. The Company may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to the Company, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.
The Company may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on the Company or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of the Company; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Company, or the public.
Right to Deletion
Subject to certain exceptions set out below, on receipt of a verifiable request from you, we will:
Please note that we may not be able to comply with requests to delete your personal information if it is necessary to:
Children Under Thirteen
The Company does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this application or website, or to communicate with the Company in any manner.
Email Communications
From time to time, the Company may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication. However, it is the general policy of the Company to make such contact rare, as the preference of the Company is to provide such announcements and/or other general communication via social media and/or broadcast and streaming media. This does not preclude the Company from responding to email initiated by you, or a third party if it is reasonably inferred that the previously initiated communications (through whatever medium) warrants a bespoke response by the Company via email.
SMS Communications
From time to time, the Company may contact you via Short Message Service (“SMS”) or other communication via personal mobile devices (commonly referred to as “text messages”) for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication. Such contact will, by necessity, be initiated by you or by a previous owner, subscriber, or user of the device, however identified whether by Mobile Station International Subscriber Directory Number (“MSISDN”) or by a third party SMS delivery service, including but not limited to mobile telephone applications such as WhatsApp. If such contact was previously initiated by a previous owner, subscriber, or user of the device, the Company requests that its communication in direct response be viewed as in error, and that the Company be held harmless in such event.
Opting Out of Email or SMS Communications
If you would like to stop receiving marketing or promotional communications via email or SMS from the Company, you may opt out of such communications by replying STOP.
Voicemails and Audio Recordings
You may provide the Company with audio recordings of your voice. Use of the Company’s voicemail shall constitute a provision of an audio recording of your voice. The Company reserves the right to use audio recordings of your voice for any legal purpose, including the production of content for the Company’s broadcast, audio, and video streaming services. If you do not consent to all uses, you must indicate clearly on the recording the purposes for which you do consent to use of that particular recording of your voice, (Possible examples: “This is an attempt to collect a debt,” “I’m calling about a customer service issue,” etc.) along with a clear indication that you do not consent to other uses (“Don’t use this on air”). The Company will refrain from adding context to production content that would reasonably identify you personally as an individual. However, the Company cannot be held responsible for the disclosure of personally identifiable information that is integral to the audio recording and its legal, unrestricted use.
The Company reserves the right to retain audio recordings of your voice, whether in original or by electronic copy, for a period of time in accordance with applicable laws for the particular use case; or, when no particular use case is specified, indefinitely. The Company also reserves the right to delete any and all such recordings, while making a good faith effort to comply with laws and legal action mandating their retention. The Company further reserves the right to withhold any good or service promised in exchange with an audio recording of your voice if such recording is restricted in its use due to withholding of consent or if the Company’s use of the audio recording is restricted due to laws or legal action. Such a good or service may include (but is not limited to) progress toward a particular “chart position”, for example.
External Data Storage Sites
We may store your data on servers provided by third-party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted. Such data will be stored on servers located within the United States of America to the extent possible or, if this is not possible for reasons unforeseen, servers located within nations for which the laws of the United States of America and the State of Florida permit the external storage of data.
Changes to This Statement
The Company reserves the right to change this Policy from time to time; for example, when there are changes in our services, changes in our data protection practices, or changes in the law. When changes to this Policy are significant, we will inform you by placing a prominent notice on this website. Your continued use of the application and/or services available after such modifications will constitute your: (a) acknowledgment of the modified Policy; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by that Policy.
